It marks the most challenging theoretical and methodological problems faced by the national sociology of religion. Particularly, special attention is paid to the question of theoretical and practical conceptualisation of two structural discipline’s conceptions – religiousness and churchism. Slobozhnikova","doi":"10.54561/prj1001019s","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54561/prj1001019s","url":null,"abstract":"The problem of religiosity influence on party construction in modern Russia is analyzed within three periods proposed by the author: 1. the nineties of the twentieth century - the period without restrictions on the use of religion; 2. The first decade of the twenty first century – the period of sufficiently strong principles of state secularism; 3. 2012 – present – the period of “primitive secularism” overcoming. Conclusions and generalizations are made within a broad empirical material, including the study of party’s public declaration. The basic trends and features of the religiosity influence on party construction have been determined. It has been analyzed in relation to religion and believers of the leading political parties. Particular attention is paid to the ways and methods of solving the state-religious issues (the war between and within religious conflicts, overcoming discord in the interpretation of the canons and dogmas, flirting with clerics). The analysis is based on a broad historical context. Shilov","doi":"10.54561/prj1001069s","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54561/prj1001069s","url":null,"abstract":"This article offers a general overview of the most important events in the religious life of Mordovia in the early 2000s - mid 2010s, on which basis it is possible to trace the main trends in the religious situation in the country at the present stage. Particular attention is paid to the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Muslim Ummah (community) in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia as the most influential denominations in the region. These denominations have established close relationships and diverse social partnership with government agencies of Mordovia. The author shows that the main problems of religious life of the Republic of Mordovia are: attempts to spread Wahhabism in the republic, as well as the rivalry of individual spiritual administrations of Muslims.
