The measurement of random situations is a relevant fact within the field of Econometrics. In the usual practice of the field of Econometrics assumptions are made about the statistical distributions of the data. In this paper, a concept from Physics is introduced, specifically the use of Entropy as an explanatory factor in the decision-making of tourist accommodation in apartments. The emergence of a concept called Sharing Economy has made the housing market to evolve. Assuming a direct competition against traditional accommodation such as hotels. For this, the Entropy time series have been calculated and defined for the periods between January 2005 and August 2018, to forecast and compare them with a time horizon of 12 months with the most usual predictive models. To carry out the forecast comparisons, we work with the new Matrix U1 Theil which allows quantifying the gain of the use of the Entropy models. The main locations in which the study has been applied are Spain, Catalonia and Barcelona. The theoretical implications and economic consequences are relevant for stakeholders in decision-making. In these enterprises, health and safety hazards are high, but existing occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and services are poorly implemented. This puts many business owners in developing countries at undue risk of fatal or non-fatal work-related health problems and associated medical costs and economic hardship. This paper examines the OHS challenges of entrepreneurs in the informal sector. The objective is to identify the OHS challenges and the stakeholders that could bring improvement. The paper reviews existing published and grey literatures gathered through desk search of electronic databases. All studies providing outcome data on OHS among informal workers were assessed for the rigor of each study. It identifies various challenges to OHS such as ignorance of occupational hazards; lack of OHS regulation in informal sector; ignorance of OHS issues and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) coverage to informal sector. Suggestions made to overcome these challenges include commitment on the part of government, harnessing the activities of various stakeholders that were identified in controlling occupational hazards, and functional trade union that will provide OHS support to members. As one of the oldest social problems, many methods of division have been proposed over the years. The most deeply rooted in the theory of justice are proportional divisions. However, they may be perceived as unfair for some practical cases. Let us consider a cost sharing of a natural gas infrastructure development. The main part of the cost is covered by an investor, whereas the rest, i.e. the total connection fee, has to be paid by customers willing to be connected to the pipeline. Since the revenue comes from consumption fees, therefore, the investment can start if the total expected gas consumption volume reaches a certain limit. If the total connection fee is divided proportionally among the customers based on their consumption volumes, then some of them will suffer from financial burden. On the other hand, connection fees of customers with small consumption will be marginal, but they will also use the common infrastructure. To prevent such cost sharing, which can be perceived as unfair, we will use the degressive proportionality principle. However, its practical application to determine a solution requires additional criteria and algorithms. We propose a cost sharing method derived from mathematical programming which optimizes a cost criterion based on a proportional distribution at the same time holding degressively proportional principle. The layout of the paper is dictated by the implementation of the objective. The first part introduces the subject matter of consumer behaviour. Part two focuses on the issue of social changes as contribution to the creation of new trends in consumer behaviour, whereas part three focuses on the issues of technological changes as contribution to the creation of new trends in consumer behaviour. The paper has a theoretical character. It is based on a critical literature review. Consumer behaviour is determined by a number of factors dependent of the consumer himself as well as his surroundings. Globalization of economies as well as social and technological changes have a particular impact on consumer behaviour in the 20th century. Among social changes, three main trends can be identified: customization of consumption, fragmentation and paradoxical juxtaposition of opposites. Among the changes of a technical nature surreality of means of simulation and communication stands first. Realisation of values and complexity also play an important role. All changes occurring in the social and technological areas lead to the creation of new trends in consumer behaviour.
