The main catalyst is the digital revolution and its implications in a new management style. The functions of anticipation and early assessment of threats, risks, and opportunities, constitute the central functionality of the new strategic approach. Its impact is especially notable in the field of strategic decision making, which must be fully timely, rigorous, transparent, and credible in the face of the growing demands of customers and the public.
