Megawati","doi":"10.55099/participative.v3i1.73","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55099/participative.v3i1.73","url":null,"abstract":"Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kompetensi guru di sekolah dasar yang perlu dikuatkan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa melalui Pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL). Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan penguatan kompetensi kepada guru di kelas I, II, dan III dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa melalui Pendekatan TaRL. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). PAR ini sifatnya kolaboratif dan partisipatif yang tujuannya mengusulkan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan nyata sehingga diperoleh hasil perubahan yang diinginkan pada kelompok tertentu. Untuk itu, dalam pengabdian ini digunakan pelatihan atau workshop dan peer teaching. Workshop digunakan untuk memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa melalui Pendektan TaRL atau memperdalam kembali hal-hal teknis yang telah dilakukan dalam rutinitas. Peer teaching dilakukan untuk melihat dan mengevaluasi hasil dari pelatihan menggunakan Pendekatan TaRL. Para guru yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Kota Mataram yang berjumlah 12 orang. Para guru yang terlibat mempraktikkan pembelajaran membaca permulaan melaui Pendekatan TaRL. Pengabdi memandu dan menilai keterlaksanaan Pendekatan TaRL yang dipraktikkan oleh para guru dan memberikan umpan baliknya. Saran dan masukan yang konstruktif diberikan kepada para guru. As long as the pandemic continues, it takes a sense of caring from the community to work together in an effort to increase prevention in reducing the risk of being exposed to Covid-19. These efforts can be in the form of always obeying health protocols such as maintaining distance, washing hands, using masks, using hand sanitizers, and maintaining environmental cleanliness, and obeying government regulations to participate in vaccinations and comply with existing PPKM. from the Covid-19 virus. During this pandemic, schools are conducted online so the learning process is less effective, which triggers children to feel bored and choose to marry at an early age. In this case, teenagers need to be given education regarding the impact of early marriage, and the risks that will be faced if married at an insufficient age.
