The system consists of a complex network of seven harmoniously combined operating sequences. This technological knowledge was a fundamental part of the social capital of the first agrarian communities, critical for social reproduction itself and, as such, necessarily transmitted through generations. In this paper we describe the technical system, emphasizing how the on-site relationship between the production of tools and apprenticeship was organized encouraging the motivation of apprentices and avoiding competition for a paradoxically scarce high quality flint.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114448933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tell Halula (Euphrates Valley, Syria) as a case of study will be deeply analyzed during PPNB(c. 7500 cal ANE). Particularly the field work excavations developed on 2011 let us to detect populated areas rejection of wastewater and offered several samples to be studied. The interaction between water, built spaces and corridors in domestic areas become essential to understand water strategies from these communities and their mud-brick architecture. Complementarily, building structures such as wells, pipes or water deposits, will be presented with the aim to validate the water management interpretation using new methodologies.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"183 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115067211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their identification out of graves is a research line that not always has deserved attention due to archaeozoological analysis are frequently done after other analysis materials, and this circumstance usually prevent appropriate identification of their bones and teeth. However, these human remains not recognized during field works can provide important information to approach us to the complex chalcolithic symbolic world where an empiric support is fundamental. The present paper is based fundamentally on a selection of these types of anthropological remains, mainly identified and selected from the faunal studies, recovered during field works at “Camino de las Yeseras” site since 2003 campaign. A brief discussion about skeletal representativity inside Bell Beaker tombs is presented, because they mainly show movements and transfers of selected bones beside their association with other faunal remains in pits, huts and ditches. In many cases in an interesting association with human mandibles and other dog remains are documented.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129373349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Es esta una consideracion universal que podemos constatar en culturas antiguas y contemporaneas. En unas y otras, la popularidad de la leche, especialmente la de la leche materna, ha generado en torno a ella y a sus propiedades favorecedoras leyendas, mitos y creencias que ensalzan su eficacia y que en ocasiones inciden en el misterio mismo de su naturaleza.Revisamos en este articulo la relacion establecida en el antiguo Egipto entre la leche y algunas deidades que ofrecian su proteccion mediante el nutriente divino generado por ellas mismas. Incidimos en el hecho de la identificacion de algunas de estas deidades con las serpientes y valoramos creencias y leyendas de otras culturas, antiguas y contemporaneas, que establecen relaciones similares entre los ofidios y la leche materna.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128941906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dynamics of this project lead us to the neighbour Ebro valley, where we did fieldwork in several important sites such as the Artusia and Valmayor XI rock-shelters, but mainly in the Els Trocs cave, right in the central Pyrenees, with exceptional results that are changing the picture of the first Neolithic populations of the interior of the Iberian Peninsula. A synthesis of the main discoveries made in those excavations is offered, to finally conclude with a general outline of the most significant research lines that the investigations about the Iberian Neolithic has in the future agenda, part of which are also present in the projects we are currently developing, whose main provisional results are also shown.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125444775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The assemblage of 166 pieces is distributed in different cultural and chronological categories. In the Epipalaeolithic and Mesolithic layers they are mostly perforated shells of the Columbella rustica type. From the Neolithic 1B onwards an array of better crafted elements and more diverse raw materials are documented, such as discoidal beads of the Cerastoderma sp type and bracelets of Glycymeris sp, tooth and stone pendants, as well as pins and even one idol. At the end of the sequence (Neolithic 1C), the set of ornaments is less varied in quantity and diversity but they still show the same quality of manufacture.","PeriodicalId":299284,"journal":{"name":"Núm. 3 (2018) Homenaje a la profesora Isabel Rubio de Miguel","volume":"208 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122615982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
