It is estimated that 75% of women in Indonesia have experienced vaginal discharge. Leucorrhoea will increase by 50% due to the use of hormonal contraception. In Padang City, the coverage of active family planning acceptors is quite high, namely the Rawang Barat Health Center. namely 4,154 (90.59%). The aim of the study was to determine the factors associated with leucorrhoea prevention behavior in hormonal birth control acceptors at the Rawang Barat Health Center in 2018. This type of research was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The population is all active hormonal family planning acceptors with a total sample of 60 people at the Rawang Barat Health Center which was conducted in January-March 2018. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire with bivariate analysis with the Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that 55% of respondents had high knowledge, 51.7% had a positive attitude, 61.7% were less exposed to information about leucorrhoea prevention behavior. Variables that have a relationship with leucorrhoea prevention behavior are knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.000), while variables that are not related are information exposure (p=0.432). Conclusion: there are still respondents with low knowledge, attitudes, and information exposure. It is suggested that there is a need for more explanation and explanation regarding leucorrhoea in the form of counseling by health workers.","PeriodicalId":285998,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Bidan Mandiri","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124884181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pain during menstruation can be treated using herbal remedies, one of which is coconut water. In Indonesia, the incidence of dysmenorrhea is 64.25%, consisting of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia states that dimenorhea is around 55% among productive age groups. This study aims to determine the effect of drinking green young coconut water on reducing menstrual pain (dysmenorhea). This research is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental design with a one group pre-post test approach. The sample for this study was SMA PAB 5 Klumpang students using the qouta sampling technique, namely 17 people. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there were differences in mean scores The average decrease in menstrual pain before and after being given green young coconut water is from 3.29 to 4.65. Wilcoxon test results obtained A-Symp Sig (2-tailed) value is p = 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: there is an effect of drinking green young coconut water on reducing pain. It is recommended that respondents increase their knowledge in dealing with menstrual pain using non-pharmacological drugs, for institutional recipients of information on the benefits of coconut water in reducing menstrual pain, and for future researchers to develop it further.","PeriodicalId":285998,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Bidan Mandiri","volume":"274 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116074652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
