The prevalence of diabetes is escalating globally, and T2DM is a significant health concern in Indonesia. Despite conventional treatments, many patients face challenges in managing their condition, necessitating alternative approaches. This study investigates the effectiveness and safety of incorporating phytopharmaceuticals into the management of T2DM. We will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the impact of specific plant-derived compounds on glycemic control, insulin sensitivity, and associated metabolic parameters. Additionally, the research will assess the cultural acceptance and feasibility of integrating phytopharmaceuticals into the existing healthcare framework. The findings from this research will contribute valuable insights into the potential role of phytopharmaceuticals in enhancing the therapeutic options for T2DM patients in Indonesia. The study also seeks to address the growing demand for sustainable and culturally relevant approaches to healthcare.","PeriodicalId":275173,"journal":{"name":"Journal Wetenskap Health","volume":"72 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140462949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PMS severity is affected by hormonal, psychological, and physiological variables in women. Nutritional status was determined using the body mass index (BMI). According to one research, each kilogram/m2 rise in BMI was linked with a 3% increase in the chance of developing PMS. Respondents with normal height and weight who dominated the results of BMI measures in this study were found to be in the same BMI category as female students experiencing mild PMS. When it comes to female students, there is a significant disparity between BMI and PMS degree levels. There is a strong relationship between BMI and the intensity of PMS symptoms. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the completeness of filling and the timeliness of returning medical record files for inpatients at Tarakan Hospital. This type of research is a quantitative study using an observational study with a cross sectional study design. Sampling used total sampling so that the sample in this study were doctors at the Inpatient Installation of Tarakan Hospital, totaling 38 respondents. The results showed that there was a relationship between individual characteristics, organizational characteristics, job characteristics and SOPs with the completeness of filling out medical record files and the timeliness of returning medical record files at Tarakan Hospital. Therefore, it is hoped that the hospital management will continue to improve monitoring and evaluation of the importance of maintaining the quality of medical records, then immediately switch to electronic medical records in order to solve problems that exist in the medical record unit, so that performance improvements and service quality in hospitals can be realized. However, the facts on the ground are that women with FA prefer non-LTCM. Data from the Pasar Merah Village were LTCM acceptors (34.42%), while non-LTCM acceptors (65.57%). This study was to analyze the descriptions of long-term contraceptive users (EFA). This research was an analytic survey with a Cross-Sectional design. The research was conducted in Pasar Merah Village. The populations were 610 women with a sample of 86 people. Data analysis was univariate, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression with 95% confidence (α=.05). The results showed that variables associated with long-term contraceptive method users by women of FA in East Pasar Merah Village were knowledge (p=.001) and husband's support (p=.012). Unrelated variables were age (p=.118), parity (p=.019), education (p=.122), income (p=.375), health worker support (p=.128). The most dominant factor, namely the knowledge variable, had a value of Exp (B)/OR = 5.938, meaning that the respondent had good knowledge, the opportunity to use LTCM was 5.9 times higher than respondent with less knowledge. The conclusion of this research is that the husband's knowledge and support are related to the use of LTCM. It is suggested that PKB and PLKB increase counseling for women with FA and husbands so that the knowledge of women with FA increases, husbands can provide positive support. Counseling can be done individually or in groups online during the Covid-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":275173,"journal":{"name":"Journal Wetenskap Health","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126033696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The prevalence of stunting among children under five in Palopo city is quite high, namely 36.0%. Therefore, this study aims to determine the incidence of stunting and its determinant factors in children aged 12–59 months in Palopo city, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This study used a case control design. The subjects of this study were mothers who have toddlers aged 12-59 months. sampling with purposive sampling. 200 samples were collected for analysis. Data analysis using odds ratios. The proportion of stunting among toddlers 12-59 months was higher in children under five with a history of normal birth weight (70.8%) and under five who had no history of infection (84.0%). Low family income for stunting toddlers (78.0%). The results of statistical tests showed that LBW (OR = 5.37), history of infection (OR = 2.53) and family income (OR = 6.30) were determinants of stunting. This study shows that the determinants of stunting incidence in children aged 12-59 months are low birth weight, infectious diseases and low family income.","PeriodicalId":275173,"journal":{"name":"Journal Wetenskap Health","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122982729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
