Climate changes can have effects on tourism, on operators and tourist destinations and on tourist flows. The importance of the topic can also be as-sessed on the basis of environmental sustainability, an issue that must be central to any public policy on the matter. The main objective of this work is the analy-sis of the effects that the climate can have on tourism, both by analyzing the forecasts of the institutions and by evaluating the operators. Finally, this work aims to analyze and evaluate public policies that can be implemented for tour-ism.","PeriodicalId":259888,"journal":{"name":"Rivista di Scienze del Turismo - Ambiente Cultura Diritto Economia","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131693396","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has resulted in an increasing number of tourists moving to destinations all over the world and, consequently, an increase in negative tourism externalities, such as congestion, increased pollution, overuse of natural resources and so on. via (Rinaldi, 2012). From an isolated phenomenon, the application of a tax on tourism is progressively spread-ing throughout Europe as an instrument that the public administration (local or central) adopts in order to counteract the negative externalities that follow within the territory following the entry of tourists. The revenues deriving from the application of tourism taxes are then (at least in principle) used to compen-sate citizens for any inconvenience caused by the influx of tourists (Rinaldi, 2011).","PeriodicalId":259888,"journal":{"name":"Rivista di Scienze del Turismo - Ambiente Cultura Diritto Economia","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124591991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More in details, we want to deepen their effect on tourism, economic growth and local development and with respect to: – Effects on the employment; – Social inclusion of fragile target groups; – Suggestion to develop policies in favor of the future generations. Through the analysis of two case studies – such as the impact on local growth of the Australian indigenous visual art and of the music in Senegal – , and analysing the most recent literature on cultural and creative industries and development, this works aims, in the end, to outline the most relevant features and to point out a transferrable model to be applied to diverse geographic, sectorial contexts in order to promote the role of both tangible and intangible cultural aspects as driving forces to local development.","PeriodicalId":259888,"journal":{"name":"Rivista di Scienze del Turismo - Ambiente Cultura Diritto Economia","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124747029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even in well-known destinations for their sea, events can attract different types of tourists and can help counteract seasonality (Ritchie & Beliveau, 1974). In Apulia (Italy), this is thanks to the “La Notte della Taranta” Festival, which was born in 1998 and is currently the largest European music event dedicated to traditional music, able to attract over 230,000 viewers from around the world every summer in the Salento region. We take special care to deal statistically with this small sample. The number of sustainability practices in the sample is positively correlated with the quantity of output in bottles and with the amount of land planted in grapes. Agritourism has no discernible effect on conservation practices, in contrast to some prior studies on farms outside of this sector. It is argued that winery-vineyards are unique in ways that cause them to ignore agritourism and other forms of direct marketing as reasons to alter their production processes.","PeriodicalId":259888,"journal":{"name":"Rivista di Scienze del Turismo - Ambiente Cultura Diritto Economia","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122147211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the high competition in the wine tourism market, many of these countries are trying to explore new ideas and attractions, one of them being organic wine tourism. The research explores the developments of such tourism in South Africa by measuring the Willingness to Pay (WTP) for organic wine as a part of further developing the organic wine production and implicitly the associated tourism market. The research showed that there is a willingness to pay a premium amount for organic wines based on a number of attributes. Attributes such as: Awards, Certification, Recommendations and Income have a positive impact on the WTP, while previous perceptions of organic wines have a lowering effect. More research needs to be undertaken to identify whether the WTP is indeed transformed into actual demand.","PeriodicalId":259888,"journal":{"name":"Rivista di Scienze del Turismo - Ambiente Cultura Diritto Economia","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130383907","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
