By analyzing the social and political context in which the novel was written and published, the paper explores the ways in which Goethe's work reflects the political tensions and cultural changes of its time. The qualitative approach is utilized and content analysis is provided. The paper also considers the role of literature as a tool for political commentary and criticism, particularly in the context of the emerging Romantic movement in Germany. This research also highlights the significance of The Sorrows of Young Werther as both a literary masterpiece and a political statement and sheds light on the complex relationship between literature and politics in the early 19th century.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123293385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He was the founding father who has postulated the main concepts of this theory. Deconstruction means to break down a piece of structure in order to understand it better. It was coined in 1960, that was the period of political turmoil, destruction, chaos, disillusionment and rebellion. The main motive of this theory is to show those hidden meanings and concepts that have not been studied closely and deeply. The researcher has pointed out some elements in this movie which have been analyzed in the evidence of deconstruction. The main character in this movie Michael has been analyzed from the deconstructionist point of view and especially his power and all the conceptions that are related to it. He was brilliant and an amazing scientist who with the help of his wits discovers an artificial blood that saves millions of people, who were unable to walk or suffer from any fatal diseases. Injecting a serum without knowing the consequences of it, turns him into a powerful living vampire. In this movie, his power has been conceptualized to a power possessed by people in this world who turn violent, cruel, haughty and deliberately ignore the sufferings of poor and provide harm to them. Michael had a kind spirited nature, he did not let the pleasure of power turns him into a beast, although in this journey he loses his near and dear ones. Humans are the crowning achievement of God; they cannot inherit the qualities of animals. Ferocity and a wild nature reflects the essence and qualities of animals which are totally imperfect for humans. Power does not corrupt a person, it is a person who enjoys its pleasure in a negative way by flowing into its spirit and attracts towards it like a magnet. So it is not necessary that a powerful person is violent, having a satanic thoughts and evil intentions, sometimes he or she does have a concerning nature for others.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"164 10 Pt 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127524541","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this perspective, the study relates the epiphany-oriented non-hierarchical LIKE-THAT – SOMETHING-LIKE-THAT – NEVER-SOMETHING-LIKE-THAT narrative structure to verbalization of self-organized simultaneity in modernist short fiction. From this study’s findings, both writers similarly replace a conventional narrative hierarchy with a verbal event whose verbalization, namely, repetitions at all linguistic levels, allusive associations, and aposiopesis, supports an epiphany-oriented attractor of change. The results of this study extend insights of current research on verbalization of self-organized simultaneity in the process of constructing a non-hierarchical epiphanic model. They contribute to the current linguistic-synergetic research on the emergence of modernist epiphany and have practical applications with regard to modernist writers across languages and cultures.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"343 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123222754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Any sight of a woman sitting in a dhabba is met with unpleasant glances and amorous stares. Sadia Khatri, however, subverts these standards in her story “City Of Mitr” where she presents quintessentially opiniated females who learn to navigate their place in public spaces. In this article, we aim to analyse Khatri’s story by drawing upon Elizabeth Grosz’s concept of bodies-cities to establish how the city imposes limits on women’s bodies and how these limits can be negotiated. By drawing upon Helene Cixous and Karen Barad, we argue that our language is responsible for patriarchal binary thinking, thereby maintaining the male/female binary and this discursivity is not limited to language only, it has a material existence. Thus, it is responsible for shaping out identities and reflects in the way how we construct the material world around us. But if we change the language through which the world is constructed, it would also change the way we think about it. As a result, it would manifest in how we imagine our cities and architecture. David Harvey that since we believe that society is made and re-imagined, then it can also be remade and reimagined. Through this article, we attempt to show how Khatri re-imagines the city from the perspective of women. And how Pakistani women, like Khatri’s mitris, can reclaim the public spaces if the language by which the world is structured is changed.  \u0000Key words: public spaces, gendered, city, body, language, architecture","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131285381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Data was collected from a sample of 50 students using a mixed-methods approach, and the results showed that written comments were the most effective form of feedback for enhancing students' writing ability. However, the study also identified shortcomings in the feedback provided by instructors, including a lack of pertinent and actionable criticism and insufficient attention to each student's unique writing process. The study emphasizes the need for more efficient feedback techniques that prioritize the needs of students and provide specific and relevant feedback that addresses the strengths and weaknesses of each student's writing, as well as taking into account their individual writing processes.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133079748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This novel belongs to the genre of Sufiism. An in-depth of the novel allow researcher to find binaries out of this literary test. The researcher also seeks the meanings reflected out of these binary oppositions. In the net shell researcher explore the ideology of structuralism by Ferdinand de Saussure in the novel. The researcher by the work claim that binary oppositions are universal and they provide meaning to their structure. By the close reading of the test researcher conclude that Elf Shafak produce the binaries like east vs west, past vs present, rigidness of character vs flexibility in character and more decently love and spirituality vs materialism. By this entire analysis researcher meet the result that the novel provides to folds of life. It is what the Sufiism. Sufiism is not only associated with white cloth and beard on the face, it is concerned with the internal peace. The role of cognitive analysis in interpretation of the text is manifold as it reveals how a creator of the text takes care of the text at discourse level and at text-world. Exposing himself or herself to the audience, the author conveys the message and the reader decode the embedded message conveyed through the specific text. Thus constructing textual meanings not simply requires further elaborations but needs reader‟s „mental space‟ involvement in the process of creating the Text world. Text world theory aims to clear the distance laid between the reader and author. The „reading experience‟ involves the focus of cognitive stylistics as what happens when this action of reading the text happen and also how this action shape the construction of meaning and interpretation of text (cf. e.g., Ibrahim, 2014; Stockwell, 2015).” “Text World Theory (Werth, 1999; Gavins, 2007; Whiteley, 2011) has given us answers to the questions as how and why readers construct meanings while performing the act of reading (Patricia Canning). Where on one hand the Text-World theory tells us how meanings and interpretations are constructed, on the other hand the Schema theory helps us to understand how coherence is achieved by connecting the vacant dots created by the author and solved by the reader.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"175 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132385711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are fighting to have the recognition of their worthy identity under the movement of feminism across the globe. The present study has the motive to highlight this issue through the stylistic analysis of the novel, Beyond The Fields by Aysha Baqir. Feminism and Stylistics are two different fields but the term was coined by Sara Mills in her book feministic stylistics. Sara Mills’s model of three level analysis has been applied to portray and reflect the gender stereotyping present in typical Pakistani society. The application is done at word level, phrase and sentence level and discourse level respectively. The analysis reveals that gender stereotyping is present in typical mindset of rural community. For this stereotyping, sexism is adopted towards the female gender and the model analyses this through the structure of linguistic patterns. The study opens the minds towards certain enlightment to break the manacles of gender stereotyping and gender discrimination through the mode of education to lit the dark minds.","PeriodicalId":259274,"journal":{"name":"Panacea Journal of Linguistics & Literature","volume":"33 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116750686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unlike the traditional criticism of literature, formalism focuses on form of a given text and endeavours to dissect meanings and theme. The current research work is focused on comparative formalist analysis of Daud Kamal’s poem Ode to Death and Emily Dickinson’s poem I heard a fly Buzz-when I died. These poems are taken for formalistic analysis because these are one of the best poems written by poets in terms of their style, diction and themes.
