This can lead to misunderstanding, sharing of false information on social media, and a loss of faith in reporting. This paper examined newscasts on the three most popular U.S. cable news channels (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC) from 2008 to 2018. While the study did not find the amount of opinions rose consistently, or on all networks, there were some statistically significant changes, especially with CNN. The research also noted that by using specific techniques, the consistent reliance on opinions in a newscast can easily confuse viewers from telling fact from commentary.","PeriodicalId":253709,"journal":{"name":"REVIEW OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132348778","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

He was one of the most experienced and influential figures in ceramic studio art in Africa. Broni was trained by the famous Michael Cardew at Abuja, Nigeria, Peter Voulkos in the United States, and David Leach, the son of Bernard Leach, in England. Broni had the experience of meeting Bernard Leach while in England and attended exhibitions of Modern ceramists such as Hans Coper. His extensive education, talent, and hard work, coupled with his diverse cultural exposure, make him one of Africa‘s most accomplished ceramists of the postcolonial era. He is credited with numerous national and international awards. He taught for 28 years in the premiere College of Art in Ghana, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. Broni has had an extensive exhibition record and has a large body of work in his private collection. This study seeks to unearth and document the contribution of the artist Kingsley Kofi Broni and position him within the broader development of ceramic studio art in Ghana, revealing the significance of his work within the history of Modern ceramics internationally.","PeriodicalId":253709,"journal":{"name":"REVIEW OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128404714","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results out of a survey, focusgroup meetings and interviews indicate that, first, the socially-marginalized migrant workers‘ need for dialogic communication, and the government health officials‘ willingness to apply dialogic approaches, prove to be the potentials to initiate dialogue between the two; second, the potentials seem insufficient to warrant genuine dialogue due to the functioning of several constraints. Furthermore, this study suggests possible remedies of these constraints, including growing a dialogic culture in society, reducing governmental control or interference, providing training based on dialogic principles and/or practices, and finding innovative ways of using social media to facilitate the dialogue.","PeriodicalId":253709,"journal":{"name":"REVIEW OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129630883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A survey design was employed and a sample of 200 teachers drawn from public and private primary schools was drawn through the stratified sampling technique. A self-constructed and validated questionnaire titled Teachers’ Role in Building a Sustainable Primary Education Curriculum Questionnaire (TRBSPECQ) was utilized. Data collected were analyzed by means of Pearson’s r and multiple regression analysis at the .05 level of significance. Results showed that there was significant combined and relative influence of teachers’ computer literacy, Internet use, and in-service training on sustainable primary education curriculum as well as significant inter-relationships among the variables of the study.","PeriodicalId":253709,"journal":{"name":"REVIEW OF ARTS AND HUMANITIES","volume":"19 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134118226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
