The experiment revealed that multiplication of wood apple plants by softwood grafting among different age of rootstock under poly mist house condition found to be better than open condition. In ten months old rootstock (A6) less (23.8) days were required for sprouting with maximum number of leaves (13.7). The grafting was done at monthly interval from August (2006) to June (2007) under open as well as controlled conditions.
