{"title":"Oczekiwania nauczycieli i rodziców wobec nauczyciela edukacji wczesnoszkolnej","authors":"Iwona Gawlik","doi":"10.15290/parezja.2021.16.06","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15290/parezja.2021.16.06","url":null,"abstract":"This article focuses on the issue of parents’ and teachers’ expectations concerning the early childhood education (ECE) teacher, who plays an important role in the process of teaching, upbringing, and taking care of children in primary school grades 1–3. Consequently, parents’ and teachers’ expectations are high. This article is of a theoretical and empirical nature. The results of the findings indicate divergences in the teachers’ (43) and parents’ (54) opinions regarding the expected traits of the ECE teacher. The subject of human relations with other forms of life on our planet is an extremely valuable area for pedagogical reflection, where there is still insufficient content on the substantive and ethical level. This is because the natural world, including animals, is usually presented – within the anthropocentric perspective – as less significant, inferior, irrelevant, and primarily dependent on the meanings given to it by people. The search for a common interface between animal studies and pedagogy aims to emphasise the context of empathy, the category of community, and the issue of mutual interdependence. This crossroads takes the form of a specific ethical proposal, the basis of which is the assumption of the equality of all beings in the perspective of life. The article presents the most important concepts, definitions, solutions, and discussions that create the theoretical framework for both pedagogy and animal studies. {"title":"(Nie)sprawiedliwe narzędzia – pisanie bluszczowe","authors":"A. Cywiński","doi":"10.15290/parezja.2021.16.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15290/parezja.2021.16.07","url":null,"abstract":"The text presents an autoethnographic response to the results of a survey in which academics were asked about their sense of justice regarding the tools offered by universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis of 118 responses and their justifications indicates that for 77% of them the tools proposed during the COVID-19 epidemic are fair and for 23% – unfair. In addition, respondents questioned the validity of the question of fairness with regard to digital tools. On the basis of autoethnography, the above result is a catalyst for reflecting on the author’s ideas about the research topic and the relationship of people with artificial intelligence (AI). {"title":"Doświadczenia emancypacyjne nauczycielek wiejskich w perspektywie filozofii egzystencjalnej Simone de Beauvoir","authors":"Natalia Cybort-Zioło","doi":"10.15290/parezja.2021.16.05","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15290/parezja.2021.16.05","url":null,"abstract":"In this article I present the results of research whose aim was to explore the emancipatory experiences of female teachers working in rural primary schools in order to analyse, interpret, and explain the sources of oppression and the ways of overcoming or weakening it and in effect supporting this professional group in achieving autonomy in particular dimensions of their existence. The theoretical perspective of the conducted research was primarily based on the existential theses of Simone de Beauvoir contained in her treatise ‘The Second Sex’ and ‘The Ethics of Ambiguity’, as well as in her novels, essays, and memoirs. The author is convinced that people on the autism spectrum have specialized minds that systematize. He calls them “born pattern seekers”. They create the foundations of human civilization, demonstrating a “love of logic” (Baron-Cohen, 2021, p. 15). The precision and tendency to classify demonstrated by such people results from the need to understand the surrounding reality in the process of different preferences for learning. The researcher reformulated the understanding of the autism spectrum in social sciences and humanities, embedding it in the concept of neurodiversity.
