As a result of the study, it was determined that reed switches can be used to build relay protection devices that do not need current transformers and allow you to compare phases of two electrical quantities. The error in comparing the phases of electrical quantities did not exceed 10%. There is no dead zone in the presented device, when the phase of the first electrical quantity changes by 180 degrees.
