If this progress is to continue without social upheavals, a sustainable social security system is mandatory. Pensions, and pension reforms, are an essential part of any social security system. This paper argues that it is imperative to reform the existing provident and pension fund entities. We also need better systems for administration and delivery of old age assistance. The major areas which the reforms should address are – improvement in administrative systems ; a well-designed social security system; and better regulation mechanism. One area where reforms can be easily implemented is the Civil Service Pensions. This has been taken up by the present Govt in a big way. The lessons learnt in implementation of the reforms here will be useful while expanding the scope of reforms to affect the whole target population. The author, as Nodal Officer, is responsible for implementation of these reforms in his department. As a part of e-governance, employee (and their spouse/dependent) records are being digitized. Digital data base of AADHAAR and of Income Tax Department is being used extensively. This process, including the lessons being learnt, has been discussed in detail in this paper.","PeriodicalId":167706,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124304085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research study was carried out to investigate the impact of working environment on job satisfaction of software professionals in software industry. Work environment, results that are affected by job satisfaction on employee’s performance are investigated in this paper. It was indicated that how software professionals were getting experience and satisfaction from the work environment. The well-designed pretested questionnaire was used for data collection. The total sample size engaged for research study was taken to be 100. Among 100 employees, 65 were male and 35 were females. The convenience sampling method was employed for the study and analysis of data were completed by means of the statistical tools correlation and regression. The regression analysis confirmed that the work environment dimension influences only 21.8% to job satisfaction of software professionals at Wipro Technologies, Greater Noida, India. So based on the findings of this study, the study concluded that work environment has got substantial influence over job satisfaction of software professional at Wipro Technologies, Greater Noida, India.","PeriodicalId":167706,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science","volume":"201 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124513254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Supplier selection in supply chain management is a multi-criteria decision making problem which includes both qualitative and quantitative criteria. In today’s tremendously competitive environment, supplier selection process is extremely significant for success of any organization. With increasing concern towards environmental protection, industries in western countries have already started considering green factors unlike the Indian chemical industries which are still very much reliable on traditional factors than green factors in analysis and selection of suppliers for their supply chain. In this research study, we have laid down hypotheses that revolve around traditional and green supplier selection factors for supplier selection in supply chain management. The paper also highlights the effect of traditional and green criteria as a whole on the chemical industries.<br>","PeriodicalId":167706,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science","volume":"342 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134291889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Users need everything on a click of a button. Transacting websites needs to be more user friendly but to capture the feeling, security should not be compromised. In terms of providing security specially in banking sector, every bank is trying to do their best. In last decades it has been observed that password is used as mandatory factor of authentication along with other factors. Individual having multiple accounts needs to have different password and also needs to memorise all of them correctly. With these requirements in mind, we have proposed Multi-Banking System(MBS) with three level security in which the customer needs to remember only one password. MBS provides an interface for a customer to access multiple accounts with single login without compromising on the level of security individual bank provides.<br>","PeriodicalId":167706,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131951129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although big data centers and latest technologies have handled huge volumes of data but still the problem of integrating heterogeneous data on the cloud persists. This paper proposes a model for integrating heterogeneous data on the cloud focusing on the security of data at rest. The model is based on service oriented computing, as services are based on fundamental features of interoperability and loose coupling. The different layers of the proposed model deal with various aspects of data interpretation on cloud. The client layer provides interface to the client and works on basic request and response parameters. The service inventory layer comprises of different services working on integration and encryption of data and the cloud data layer holds the actual data in uniform format. The paper aims to provide a solution to the heterogeneous data integration problem on cloud and data security at rest.","PeriodicalId":167706,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Sustainable Computing in Science","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133047561","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
