Women in their first trimester of pregnancy suffer no symptoms, but others may experience painful or heavy periods. The presence of fibroids might occasionally make it more difficult to become pregnant; however, this is uncommon. Approximately 20 percent to 80 percent of women develop fibroids by the time they reach the age of 50. If there are no symptoms, it is typically not necessary to seek medical attention. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) may be used to relieve pain and bleeding, while ibuprofen and other NSAIDs may be used to relieve pain and bleeding. It is possible that women who have heavy periods will require iron supplements. The use of medications from the gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist family may help to reduce the growth of fibroids, but they are both expensive and associated with negative side effects. Patient counselling and education will aid in lowering the risk to patients and slowing the progression of the study. The work done to determine the causes of anaemia will aid in increasing knowledge about anaemia, including dietary modifications, and decreasing the progression of the study by providing patient counselling and education. The findings of a six month study of 75 cases of fibroids discovered in 362 samples revealed that uterine fibroids are the most common malignancy in women of reproductive age. Uterine fibroids are not only found in women of null parity; they can also be found in women with multiple pregnancies. Hitherto, the quantity of established instances worldwide has reached 135 million, and the number of deaths is 2.9 million. In India, the cases were found to be 20 million and the mortality rate is 3,51,000. This virus was first identified in Wuhan City, Hubei Province in China, at the end of 2019. Until now, it affected more than 200 countries. The treatment pattern and clinical presentations were assessed in COVID 19 patients. A total of 146 patients, severe patients (n = 71) and non-severe patients (n = 75) where included in the study. The mean age of the study population was found to be 58.76±14.32 and the most common symptoms of patients include fever, fatigue, dry cough, and diarrhea there is no statistically significant difference in the clinical features between severe and non-severe patients. There is no significant difference in the laboratory findings except lymphocyte count, CORADS and N/L ratio between severe and non-severe patients. COVID-19 affects all age groups especially the elderly. The risk for severe illness with COVID-19 increases with age. The management of elevated post prandial glucose is critical to control the sequale of complications and α-amylase, α-glucosidases are responsible for elevated plasma glucose. Enzyme inhibitors in current clinical practice like acarbose, voglibose etc. are known to cause various gastrointestinal side effects. The present study was aimed to screen for potential α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitors from natural sources by in–vitro antidiabetic assays to overcome the side effects and toxicity. Different concentrations of leaf juice of Plectranthus amboinicus Lour. (20, 40, 60, 80 &100 μg/ml) were tested against fungal α-amylase and α-glucosidases isolated from albino rat small intestine and a prominent dose dependent inhibition of the enzymes was observed comparable with the marketed product, Acarbose. The IC50 values of LJPA and acarbose on fungal α-amylase was found to be 83.15 &52.15 μg/ml respectively. The IC50 values of LJPA and acarbose on α-glucosidase was found to be 92.44 &54.84 μg/ml respectively.
