Conversational, ChatGPT supports natural interactions, providing human-like responses to queries across myriad topics. But it is not infallible, and the degree of accuracy also depends on the complexity of the queries, the context, and how often the prompts are repeated. This work thus proposes a new model, the Precision Answer Comparison and Evaluation Model (PACEM), to systematically address these types of questions and assess ChatGPT's performance. PACEM assesses the correctness and coherence of ChatGPT's answers across numerous fields, including literature, history, law, ethics, and sports. By providing these analyses and comparisons, PACEM goes on record with a detailed understanding of what ChatGPT does well and poorly as a source of reliable information. On top of that, it includes an assessment of response time, considering ChatGPT's speed in producing answers in relation to real or expected ones. The findings show that ChatGPT's answers are usually substantially accurate and often of superior quality compared to those written by the user and other alternatives. Response time generally increases with the complexity or length of the answer. Finally, the study reviews notable takeaways from PACEM's deployment and offers suggestions for future research to address the evolving challenges in AI-driven response assessment.","PeriodicalId":14893,"journal":{"name":"农业环境科学学报","volume":"3 1","pages":"74-90"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2026-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://ijds.mtu.edu.iq/itjournal/index.php/home/article/download/60/25","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147910842","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, its cytotoxicity, persistence, mobility, and bioaccumulation potential remain poorly understood. This study evaluates the cytotoxicity of cyanuric acid and investigates its occurrence and toxicological impact in water samples. Additionally, data on its biodegradation half-life, octanol-water partition coefficient (Kow), and bioconcentration factor (BCF) were collected. The average concentrations of cyanuric acid in 20 swimming pools were 26,600 µg/L, which were 3–5 orders of magnitude higher than other known organic disinfection byproducts (DBPs). The median lethal concentration (LC50) of cyanuric acid for Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells was 13.7 mM. Given its widespread occurrence and high concentration, cyanuric acid is likely a significant contributor to swimming pool cytotoxicity. The calculated cytotoxicity of cyanuric acid (15,054) exceeded that of all reported cyclic DBPs in swimming pools, including halonitrobenzoic acids (0.04), halonitrophenols (0.1), and halobenzoquinones (4.4). Furthermore, its calculated cytotoxicity was also much higher than most aliphatic DBPs. Overall, cyanuric acid contributed approximately 21.4% of pool water cytotoxicity, identifying it as an overlooked cyclic DBP. In terms of environmental persistence, cyanuric acid had a biodegradation half-life of 6.17 days, which is approximately comparable to the median level of aliphatic DBPs. The LogKow and BCF of cyanuric acid was −0.72 and 0.501 L/kg, suggesting a high mobility and minor bioaccumulation potential. Moreover, due to its extremely high concentration in swimming pool water (up to 79,000 µg/L), these values do not eliminate concerns about its environmental risks. Given that chloroisocyanuric acids have been identified as ideal oxidants in advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) for micropollutant degradation in water in recent years, this study may reveal the potential risk of cyanuric acid in swimming pool water and UV/chloroisocyanuric acid-treated water.","PeriodicalId":14893,"journal":{"name":"农业环境科学学报","volume":"1 2","pages":"116-127"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-11-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://media.sciltp.com/articles/2511002213/2511002213.pdf","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147903964","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper has discussed the microclimatic and welfare advantages of planned multi-species tree-shrub buffers with fruits created strategically around open sided dairy cattle sheds in a sub-tropical environment. The critical environmental parameters were monitored during a 12-month monitoring period in sheds with vegetation buffers (VB) and with control sheds without them (CT) measuring the air temperature, relative humidity, black globe temperature, wind, and temperature humidity index (THI). At the same time physiological indicators (rectal temperature, respiration rate, skin temperature) was considered, behavioural time budgets (lying, feeding, ruminating, shade-seeking, agonistic interactions) as well as simple performance characteristics were assessed in 60 crossbred dairy cows. The findings indicated that VB sheds offered superior and steady microclimate atmosphere with a lower afternoon air temperature of 1.52.8 C and THI of 36 without a sharp difference in radiation burden and a controlled wind speed in comparison to CT. In hot climates, cows in VB were much less affected by heat stress as shown by a reduction in respiration rate and skin temperature, increased lying and ruminating time, and lesser discomfort behaviour. There was also the presence of slight gains in milk production and feed consumption in hot months of summer. In general, the results show that agro-horticultural vegetation buffer is indeed efficient to control near-animal microclimate, alleviate heat stress, and enhance superior behavioural welfare as well as provide ecological co-benefits, such as fruit and biomass production. Such results oppose the reason why vegetation buffers are an effective, inexpensive, and climatically sustainable approach to enhancing livestock housing conditions in subtropical areas.","PeriodicalId":14893,"journal":{"name":"农业环境科学学报","volume":"17 3","pages":"740-750"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://aejournals.org/index.php/AEJ/article/download/2136/2322","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147896003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"OA","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Balanced diet, genetic makeup, and use of antibiotics highly influence the microbial population in the gastrointestinal tract. This review article presents a detailed background on the gut microbiota, including its composition and the various factors influencing its diversity and stability. Strategies for maintaining a healthy gut microbiota are explored, along with an examination of the role of neurotransmitters in regulating gut-brain communication. Research shows that machine learning has a huge potential in elucidating the gut microbiome. B2Gold's Otjikoto gold mine complies by committing to rehabilitation of their waste-rock dumps and other disturbance features within their mining licence area in the Otjozondjupa Region. As the mine is in the early stages of operation and has committed to run-of-mine rehabilitation, there have been some rehabilitation attempts. Initial rehabilitation of an abandoned section of a district gravel road (D2808) and the western face of a waste rock dump (known as SP11) has been undertaken. Rehabilitation measures included ripping of the soil surface of the gravel road as well as covering the ripped soil surface and the waste rock dump slopes with stored topsoil removed from the first mining cut before it was excavated. We investigated the extent of vegetation establishment of these rehabilitation measures with the aid of high-resolution near infra-red aerial imagery coupled with ground-based observations on established plant biomass. It was evident that simple ripping of the road surface allowed limited establishment of grasses, which was greatly improved if the ripped surface was covered by stockpiled topsoil. Likewise, covering the waste rock dump with topsoil resulted in the natural establishment of various grasses, but also the leguminous shrubs Dichrostachys cinerea and Mundulea sericea. Erosion of the applied topsoil on the waste rock slope was, however, found to limit vegetation establishment. The natural establishment of both Dichrostachys cinerea and Mundulea sericea indicates a high potential for these species to be used for basic stabilisation of the slopes, possibly enabling colonisation by a variety of other species which we have listed. Several techniques published to aid the stabilisation of the slopes and establishment of vegetation cover were also reviewed and contextualised for Namibian conditions.","PeriodicalId":14893,"journal":{"name":"农业环境科学学报","volume":"2 1","pages":"A-A"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147902052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
