Cyberbullying assessment scale and student problem checklist along with demographic pro forma used to obtain information. The results revealed that cyberbullying is the positive predictor of mental health problems in university students. The major limitation of the study was that sample of the study was not very large and also limited to just one city of Pakistan. Further researchers can use it to check the validity of the study and also use it with the emotional behavioral problems, personality type, and with another dimensions such as academic performance, parental relationship and bonding with loved once can also be investigated with this phenomena. The results are discussed in the specific cultural context of Pakistan.","PeriodicalId":142443,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Research in Psychology","volume":"2011 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127363391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Participants were within the ages of 14–18 drawn through a convenient sampling technique. The correlation statistic was used, and a factorial ANOVA was used to further examine the data. It was hypothesized that test anxiety will significantly predict academic performance among students in biology examination. Results obtained were not significant with P > 0.05 at P, 1 (0.072) while the nature of the relationship is a positive relationship. Additionally, it was hypothesized that there will be a significant interaction effect of gender and class on test performance among participants. Analysis of between subjects’ effects revealed no significant effect of gender and class on student’s academic performance at P, 1(.443) = 0.509. It was recommended that teaching/learning environment should be good enough to help provide students with the grounds for improved performance.","PeriodicalId":142443,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Research in Psychology","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114073912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this point, the topic of this paper has been chosen. Basically, it has been reached that there are different types of bullying, such as verbal, physical, sexual, and cyber bullying in the workplace. As each type differs in its characteristics as well as the way it affects the victims of bullying. Besides, the causes of this phenomenon can be summarized as low-self-esteem, feelings of inferiority, and the pressure of the work for the bullies. Workplace bullying has many negative effects on the victims of bullying from many angles such as psychological, physical, and socioeconomic angles. Raised separately from their parents, some may not establish family ties. This study examines symptoms of depression among Haitian youth near the time that they aged out of orphanage care (T1) as well as 8 months after leaving the institution (T2). Two hypotheses were tested using participant scores on the Center for Epidemiological Studies Short Depression Scale (CESD-10): (H1) Aging out youth who had contact with a family member would have fewer depressive symptoms at T2 compared to those who had no family contact and (H2) that youth who had contact with a parent would have fewer depressive symptoms at T2 compared with youth who only had contact with non-parental family members or who had no family contact at all. Support for both hypotheses was found, though it was noted that all youths who had no family contact were depressed at T1 as measured by the CESD-10 and continued to be depressed at T2. Implications for policy changes and interventions, particularly those aimed at developing social support, relationships with mentors or surrogate parents, and increasing family contact are presented.","PeriodicalId":142443,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Research in Psychology","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127692640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bulut, Maryam Al-Zendani","doi":"10.33309/2639-9113.030201","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33309/2639-9113.030201","url":null,"abstract":"Human beings have the capability for love. However, it requires more than the ability to obtain love and to be loved. It is crucial to align this ability with an awareness of this sentiment’s roots and impact. In childhood, children tend to be selfcentered, but for healthy development, it is better for an individual to have the ability confine this character – when needed – as one grows up. The current research aims to draw and discuss the theoretical framework of the correlation between love and the existential meaning of life. The approach followed was an analytical deductive approach that combines Islamaic literature and Western literature. The importance of research stems from the need to have a meaning that helps individuals to cope with rapid, sometimes painful, and severe fluctuations of life. During the current pandemic, an existential question has aroused and started this paper: What is in life that we want to live for? It is partially derived from Frankl’s Man’s search for meaning. The author concludes that each of us carries a meaning that helps us emanate from and face life’s difficulties based on it; however, researcher wondered about the formation of this meaning. Findings of this paper revolve around love as a fundamental pillar in humans’ life and as a substantial experience that links an individual to the core of humanity and extracts the best out of the individual. Moreover, jurists of the Islamic world discuss love as an emotion that drives a person to live the experience of existence and consider it that the basis of actualizing Servitude “Ubudiyyah” relies on love that is the mandate of every Muslim.","PeriodicalId":142443,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Research in Psychology","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115120541","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Victims are even children who abuse other children because the system does not want to recognize them as abusers until a terrible tragedy happens. Violent children find victims who are vulnerable or disfigured by other children (skin color, walking style, name, size, religion, glasses, family, and dress). They are often silent, calm, passive, anxious, unsafe, and cautious children with low self-confidence. They have a few friends who sometimes stand in their defense. Victims of violence often have the feeling of guilt and feel that they are themselves guilty of what is happening to them. Victims of violence want to fit in their environment in any way. Child victims often try to hide from adults that they are victims of violence because they think that they will be considered weak and cowardly.","PeriodicalId":142443,"journal":{"name":"Clinical Research in Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129303768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
