Through this paper, I intend on shedding light on various complex aspects such as stereotypes of gender, stereotypes made by society, athletes, etc; while simultaneously highlighting the unequal disparity which exists between male and female athletes in terms of awards, money, certificates, airing time on media, etc. Apart from that, this paper will also help zoom into the notion of appearance as the crucial factor which could make or break the career of a Tennis star, especially through its repercussions in media.
