This article asserts that it is therefore high time to adopt a more holistic approach towards consumer law. The Article advances such an approach, seeking to consider consumers’ wellness in a systematic way.The Article explores how the proposed holistic perspective may improve and enrich the discourse of consumer law. As the article demonstrates, taking into account consumers’ Subjective Well-Being allows for consideration of a wider spectrum of important matters and insights. Among these are consumers’ happiness and satisfaction, mental and physical health, quality of life, and the potential to fulfill values and beliefs which stand at the heart of one’s autonomy. The article’s main contribution is twofold. First, it expands the considerations that compete in the process of designing consumer law norms, while placing consumer law in a broader cultural-social-economic context. Second, it assists in forming a better agenda for promoting consumers’ wealth and social prosperity.
