These differences create opportunities for UK’s governments to materialize “most advanced” neo-liberal reforms in the fi eld of public employment services. Not only the current situation of marketized employment services in UK, but also its historical developments provide numbers of positive and negative examples for the countries planning to implement similar reforms.. This study does not reach a conclusion indicating that UK has best or worst practices in this fi eld. However, it suggests that the UK’s example contains very valuable inputs about pros and cons of marketization in public employment services and how this process should manage. Based on the Commonwealth Fund study in 2014, UK healthcare system ranks first regarding quality, access, efficiency, equity, and healthy lives among 11 developed nations with even a fair cost. However, when it comes to cancer outcomes, UK lags behind many developed countries. Cancer survival is a good example of an area in which both health outcomes and public satisfaction, key determinants of quality, are strikingly lacking. Therefore, this paper, to analyze and formulate reforms to address deficient quality in the English health system, will look at the particular example of cancer survival rates. The key factors leading to deficient outcomes in cancer survival are delays in diagnosis and access to appropriate care. There have been many explanations that the US having the highest healthcare spending, such as prices, high prevalence of new-technology, chronic diseases and administrative cost. This study focuses on the structure of the US healthcare system and discusses the results for replacing the present public-private system with a single payer public system to restrain or reduce healthcare spending. In this context, the paper analyzes the US and France healthcare systems and then compares both systems in terms of costs. Devletler de is sagligi ve guvenligi konusunda cesitli duzenlemeler yapmakta ve denetim mekanizmalari ile kazalari kontrol altina almaya calismaktadir. Kaza sonucunda devlet tarafindan sigortaliya yapilan yardimlar, is kazalarinin dogrudan maliyetini olusturmaktadir. Devlet butcesinden karsilanan bu yardimlar, kaynaklarin bir kisminin is kazalari yoluyla israf olmasina yol acmaktadir. Bu calismada is kazalarinin genel gorunumu anlatilmis ayrica is sagligi ve guvenligindeki gelismeler degerlendirilmistir. Devlet eliyle karsilanan yardimlar analiz edilerek yillik bazda ekonomik yuk hesaplanmis ve is kazalarinin gelecek 10 yildaki seyri farkli senaryolar duzeyinde olusturulan projeksiyonlar yardimiyla bulunmustur. Since we have limited resources, allocation of resources becomes more of an issue. Cancer is one of most leading causes of death in the world and each year, money spent on cancer treatment goes up. However, today new cancer drugs and treatment only provide narrow benefit with very high costs. Therefore, only limited number of people enjoys getting the treatment and fewer treatment or drugs are reimbursed. In addition, many countries do not have a standard to decide whether a cancer drug or a treatment will be covered.
