This process begins with project planning, which includes estimating the work to be done, required resources, and project schedule. Once these activities are accomplished, a project schedule is established that defines software engineering tasks, identifies responsible parties, and specifies inter-task dependencies. The paper aims to explore project management activities and techniques for estimating project size. Overall, software project management involves managing, allocating, and timing resources to develop software that meets requirements and is delivered within budget and schedule. This paper highlights the significance of employing efficient estimation methods to achieve successful software project management. Estimation plays a critical role in the software development process, as it helps project managers to determine the resources and time required for completing the project. The paper starts by introducing the concept of software project management and highlighting its importance in delivering successful projects. The advantages and disadvantages of each technique are discussed, and guidelines for selecting the appropriate technique for a specific project are provided. The paper also explores the importance of accurate estimation in agile software development and the use of estimation tools to simplify the process. Finally, the paper concludes by summarizing the key takeaways from the discussion and emphasizing the significance of efficient estimation techniques in ensuring successful software project management.","PeriodicalId":101709,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124807876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has integrated well into our day-to-day activities, leading us toward the use of smart home technology. Smart home systems are intelligent system that provide control to home appliances and also security systems. There are limited numbers of intelligent systems that address multiple aspects of the home automation, such as appliances control, security bridge detection, and reducing energy consumption and cost simultaneously. Hence, this research developed a system that solves these problems with an intelligent home automation system.\u0000Methods: The designed system was based on Arduino ATMEGA328P microcontroller, MQ2 sensor for gas detection, passive infrared (IR) sensor for motion detection, and flame sensor to detect fire outbreak. Arduino ATMEGA328P was used as a central controlling unit that controls the flow of system operations to achieved smart home automation system.\u0000Results: The system sends audible alarms through a buzzer to draw the user’s immediate attention. It also sends a warning message to the user’s mobile phone through the global system for mobile communication module.\u0000Conclusion: The system achieved a precision rate of 94.44% and provided a cost-effective platform for interconnecting a variety of devices and various sensors in a home through the IoT.","PeriodicalId":101709,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129048917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this project, we attempt to address and minimize the gap between the job seeker and the recruiter through this ONLINE JOB PORTAL (Web Application) using python Django. This is done by considering details of both the job seeker and the recruiter and by applying a variety of filters to satisfy their requirements. Job seekers can search for vacancies according to their qualifications, skills, and experience as well as a recruiter can easily find suitable and eligible candidates using the job seeker’s resume and profile details. In addition to this, there will be an administrator to manage and authenticate the system services. We are using MVT, a software designing architecture, to design this system. In the existing system, they have the book store feature, where users can access books based on their requirements but in our project, we are providing informative videos on how to face interviews and videos regarding their career necessities; the existing system provides updates on new job availabilities posted (within 2–3 days) but we are going to provide updates on all job availabilities posted within the past 15 days along with their opening and closing dates and also add the feature of detecting the search errors using LIKE operator (pattern matching) and string matching algorithm.","PeriodicalId":101709,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124725461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Those expressions can be extracted from the live feed through the system’s camera. Machine learning provides various techniques, one of which is detection of facial expression. It connects us across markets, aeons, backgrounds, dialects, political views, and financial status. Nowadays, music applications and other streaming services are of high demand and are sought by many people not restricted to ages as there are a remarkable and rapid evolution of multimedia, digital music, and cellular networks. Most of the people use music for their mood regulation, increase energy level, and more specifically to change their unpleasant mood or reduce tension. In addition to it, by tuning in to the right type of music at the apparent time may refine your mental health. Thus, human emotions or mood have a intense bond with music. Here, in this project, we propose an efficient solution to meet the people needs in music by live feed and Support Vector Machine learning algorithms.","PeriodicalId":101709,"journal":{"name":"Innovare Journal of Engineering and Technology","volume":"62 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131874284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
