In addition, this article also refutes some orientalist criticisms and negative accusations against the Qur’an by referring to the opinions of classical and contemporary scholars. This article uses a qualitative research method with the type of library research. The approach used is the interpretation approach and ulum al-Qur’an. This study found that al-ahruf as-sab‘ah was originally a rukhsah given to Muslims at that time because many Muslims had difficulty reading the Qur’an with one kind of letter. However, the rukhsah is removed after the loss of excuse. At the time of Caliph Uthman, the Qur'an was written and recorded only qirâ’ât following the Quraish lahjah (dialect) and left other qirâ’ât to avoid disputes in the reading of the Qur’an. The bookkeeping and writing of the Qur'an at the time of Caliph Uthman was carried out very carefully with high accuracy and witnessed by many friends who memorized the Qur'an and were following al-‘ardhah al-akhîrah. This refutes the orientalists who doubt the authenticity of the Qur’an by accusing the existence of negligence, political motives, the banishment of some al-ahruf as-sab‘ah, different qirâ’ât, and Arabic writing.","PeriodicalId":242193,"journal":{"name":"Takwil: Journal of Quran and Hadith Studies","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133584392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In it, there is an event that is evidence of Yusuf's greatness related to dream interpretation which is proven by his reception with his family in Egypt. Surah Yusuf verses 99 and 100 are two verses that describe the story. Understanding these two verses with Martin Heidegger's hermeneutics basically gives a new face regarding the secret of the reception, as well as understanding this phenomenon through Heidegger's concept of phenomenology. With qualitative data and analyzed using Heidegger's hermeneutics, this paper answers the question, how does Heidegger's hermeneutics read the Surah Yusuf verses 99 and 100. As a result, the expression of the reception between the prophet Yusuf and his family was natural and certain; and the terms Abawaihi, Al-'arsy, and Sajada are representations of the sacredness of the reception.","PeriodicalId":242193,"journal":{"name":"Takwil: Journal of Quran and Hadith Studies","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131047829","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This hadith research theory is based on the historical critical approach (HCA) which is commonly used by Western scholars in investigating the validity of a hadith. This hadith dating method is carried out through an analysis of hadith transmission based on the simultaneous isnād and matan analysis methods. The main reference in tracing the origin of this hadith is by analyzing the pathways of transmission (isnad) by collecting and comparing variations of hadith texts, detecting partial common links (pcl) and common links (cl) in different paths of transmission and examining the material for find the common link whether purely as the first collector of the hadith. The author's findings in theoretical reflection on the hadith about usury show the Prophet SAW as a common link with three companions as partial common links, namely Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud, Abu Hurairah and Bara' Ibn Hazib.","PeriodicalId":242193,"journal":{"name":"Takwil: Journal of Quran and Hadith Studies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131068503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
