The electromagnetic problem is calculated by the FDTD method. The source of electromagnetic field is a plane electromagnetic wave of nanosecond time duration with normal incidence to the ground plane. A-scans are obtained by measuring the reflected electromagnetic field at the certain height above the air-ground interface. The resulting scattered fields in the form of B-scans are processed by Kirchhoff migration method in order to determine the exact depth of the hidden object.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130050582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As elements of model arrays are taken the dipoles, oriented parallel to the axes of CCS. The obtained relations can be used for the numerical analysis of the radiation patterns and the directive gain of linear, planar and three-dimensional antenna arrays of dipoles of arbitrary length and arbitrary orientation above the screen. In this work a comparative analysis of the directive gain and radiation resistance of linear equidistant arrays of half-wave dipoles located at a distance of quarter wavelength above plane for three orientations of the dipoles located parallel to CCS axes depending on the distance between them and their number is carried out.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115338168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yatsyk and the author, for the theoretical and numerical analysis of scattering and radiation effects on infinite plates with cubically polarized layers. The focus of these modifications lies on the transition to more generally shaped, two- or three-dimensional objects, which no longer necessarily have to be represented as a Cartesian product of real intervals, to more general nonlinearities (including saturation) and the possibility of an efficient numerical approximation of the electromagnetic fields and derived quantities (such as energy, transmission coefficient, etc.). The present work advocates an approach that consists in transforming the original full-space problem for a system of nonlinear partial differential equations into an equivalent boundary value problem on a bounded domain by means of a nonlocal Dirichlet-to-Neumann (DtN) operator. It is shown that the transformed problem can be solved uniquely under suitable conditions, so that the way to the numerical solution by appropriate finite element methods in conjunction with localization techniques of the DtN operator is available.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125280231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The solution to this problem suggests finding the singularities of the analytical continuation of a given far field and placing sources with varying complex amplitudes in them. This allows to obtain the desired variable radiation pattern, with a minimum number of sources, with a minimum reactive field, and with a minimum size of the antenna's array. The results of numerical experiments for obtaining an optimal antenna with a periodically changing directional pattern are presented.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"433 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116008433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem is solved by a modified method of successive approximations in combination with the theory of waveguide-slot radiators. Calculations are carried out and the energy characteristics of the system are analyzed in the frequency range for variants of a single-layer, two-layer, and multilayer dielectric slowing down structure filling the waveguide. The calculations were carried out under the condition of equality of the slowdown coefficients at the center frequency of the range under consideration for all the variants of the waveguide filling under study. Comparison of the results of the calculated and experimental studies of the radiation coefficients of the waveguide-slot array with a multilayer dielectric structure is carried out. The possibility and features of the use of a multilayer slowing down structure in waveguide-slot array are shown.","PeriodicalId":150897,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 26th International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory (DIPED)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125116505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
