笔者以目的论为理论基础，运用意译、补译、直译等多种翻译手法，对《周保忠传》进行汉英翻译实践，从词汇层面、句子层面和文化层面对案例进行分析、总结，以期为其他从事历史传记研究的学者提供有益的启示和借鉴。
