Recruitment of Teachers of Color: On “Gifts and Talents”

Abstract In response to a recent article in the KDP Record on recruiting teachers of color, the author explores a recruitment factor that the earlier article does not address: what students of color have already learned about teaching. Suggested changes for teacher education are offered.
