Before this transformation, Islamic higher education 's core business is commonly concerned with the teaching of Islamic sciences, while UIN includes the instruction of general sciences, e.g., natural and social Sciences. In fact, the two (Islamic and natural-social science) should be integrated into the Islamic high education to establish a new integrated scientific paradigm. This study focuses mainly on the philosophy and the integration of science and Islamic methodologies in Indonesia. Based on the phenomenological qualitative approach, the current study critically examines Islam and science integration. Grounded on the study of three UINs, the article shows a novel paradigm that enables the integration of science and religion in those universities. Each university offers a specific character of the integration. UIN of Malang, for example, initiates the integration which is reflected in “tree of science”. 摘要
伊斯兰高等教育向伊斯兰国立大学(Universities Islam Negeri/UIN)的转变需要科学思想的转变。在这一转变之前,伊斯兰高等教育的核心业务通常与伊斯兰科学的教学有关,而UIN包括普通科学的教学,如自然科学和社会科学。事实上,两者(伊斯兰社会科学和自然社会科学)应该整合到伊斯兰高等教育中,以建立一种新的整合科学范式。本研究主要关注印度尼西亚的哲学以及科学与伊斯兰方法论的融合。基于现象学的定性方法,本研究批判性地考察了伊斯兰教与科学的融合。基于对三个UIN的研究,本文展示了一种新的范式,使科学和宗教能够在这些大学中融合。每一所大学都提供了一个特定的整合特征。以马朗大学的UIN为例,提出了“科学之树”所体现的整合。Yogyakarta的UIN为其相互关联和融合的伊斯兰和科学项目提供了“蜘蛛网”的隐喻,而Surabaya的UIN则用融合的双塔的隐喻提出了多学科融合。
