In this paper, rabbit anti-mtScy p 1 IgG antibody could inhibit wtScy p 1-induced basophil degranulation, mainly due to the overlap of 2 IgG conformational epitopes and 4 IgG linear epitopes with IgE epitopes. In Balb/c mice, compared with the wtScy p 1 group, the levels of IgE and IgG1, B cells, IL-4, and IL-17A were significantly decreased, whereas the production of IgG2a, TCR-β cells, Foxp3 cells, IFN-γ, and IL-10 was obviously increased in the rabbit anti-mtScy p 1 IgG antibody group, thereby alleviating the allergic response by modulating Th1/Th2 and Th17/Treg balance.
