Survivorship in oncology encompasses all individuals with cancer from diagnosis through the end of life. Like palliative care (PC), survivorship care prioritizes an evidence-based, person-centered approach to ensure quality, efficiency, and dignity. While PC clinicians regularly provide supportive and end-of-life care for people with cancer, additional guidance may be needed to address survivorship needs beyond active treatment.
