The role of fruit waste in the food sector is also discussed, with particular attention to the utilization of bioactive compounds and incorporation into bakery products, illustrating its potential to improve food quality and sustainability. It further discusses emerging technologies, challenges, and policy frameworks in waste management. The importance of fruit waste utilization in fostering a sustainable future is highlighted, aligning with global efforts to reduce waste and promote resource circularity.
