Generation Z was characterized by being the generation born between 1990 and the beginning of the 21st century, that is, they had access to technology since childhood. The main characteristics identified in young people of this generation are the passion for technology, agility, multifunctionality, and the preference for living in the virtual world. Furthermore, it was found that these Generation Z students have important work values ​​that differentiate them from other generational strata, but they also appreciate work values ​​in common with other generations, even linked to the digital world, they present possibilities of meeting the purposes of job market in relation to digital access, and the use of social networks as a niche market that technology offers. Through a literature review, the document is a bibliographical and documentary research, which will investigate the main challenges faced by generation z in relation to university education and the job market.
