Therefore, to guide the research conducted in this thesis cut, the following guiding research question was created: Do socio-educational factors interfere in the process of choosing the operation in additive or multiplicative issues? To answer this guiding question, the objective of the research was to analyze whether the student's socio-educational characteristics interfere in the choice of operation to solve additive and multiplicative questions. The instrument used to perform this analysis if there is a statistical association between the objects studied was the Chi-Square association test.
