The electromechanical piezoelectric constitutive law derived by Tiersten is adopted. Solution for the actuation and control is derived from the basic principle of the imperfection approach considering geometric nonlinearity. Closed form solutions for static and dynamic control of piezolaminated struts are prescribed.
