The control group developed writing exercises guided by a conventional strategy following the writing teaching processes according to the institution’s curriculum, while the experimental group adopted the ACOTEC strategy for the writing exercises. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effects of a writing strategy for text production among primary school students with different cognitive styles (CS) in the field dependence-independence (FDI) dimension.
