Finally, regression equation was applied to test the research model. Findings-The results demonstrated that career adaptability of newcomers has good reliability t validity, practical ability, ability matching and academic satisfaction have a positive influence on career adaptability, the effects of individual factors and family factors are very weaker than the school. Research limitations/implications-These findings offer insights into the career development of newcomers based on the multiple perspectives, and provide theoretical guidance and a practical operation path for the enterprise. Originality/value-Our research contributes to career adaptability of new employees by highlighting the factors from individual, family and school. Abstract
