In a diary study with 105 employees, we collected 666 observations at three daily measurement occasions over two weeks. The results supported our hypotheses and demonstrated that work unpredictability relates negatively to evening serenity via employees’ elevated strain levels after work. These relationships were also found when controlling for time pressure as a representative of an established daily work stressor. The journal has become a natural home for research on the work-family interface, social relations at work (including topics such as bullying and conflict at work, leadership and organizational support), workplace interventions and reorganizations, and dimensions and outcomes of worker stress and well-being. Such dimensions and outcomes, both positive and negative, include stress, burnout, sickness absence, work motivation, work engagement and work performance. Of course, submissions addressing other topics in occupational health psychology are also welcomed.
