Abstract
A hospital medicine elective at Cooper University Hospital paired fourth-year medical students with junior faculty hospitalists for one-on-one inpatient teaching. Although literature supports didactics, workshops, networking and mentorship for faculty development, evidence is limited on creating bedside teaching opportunities for early‑career hospitalists. This elective offered a novel, scalable approach.
