With the increasing demand for natural health products, the potential applications of berry antioxidants in health and beauty have attracted much attention. In this paper, the diversity, extraction methods and application of antioxidant compounds in berries were systematically discussed. Advanced extraction techniques including ultrasound-assisted extraction, enzyme-assisted extraction and microwave-assisted extraction, are thoroughly examined, with emphasis on their efficacy in enhancing extraction yield and preserving bioactive compound integrity. In addition, an in-depth analysis of the applications of berry antioxidants in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries highlight their role in reducing oxidative stress-related diseases, delaying aging and promoting overall health and beauty.
