For grammatical integration and sentence repetition, both verbal short-term memory and lexical stress discrimination played a predictive role. For grammar comprehension, lexical stress discrimination was the only significant predictor.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>The results regarding grammar are consistent with a temporal-sampling framework. Abstract
