Abstract

Epidemiology identifies the distribution of diseases, factors underlying their source and cause and methods for control. Epidemiology is fundamental to nursing practice and education as it is the basis of understanding disease processes within populations. Epidemiology can be difficult for students to understand and apply the information clinically. Students are unable to understand the direct relevance of epidemiological data to bedside nursing making engagement difficult. This activity focuses on understanding epidemiological principles, and its importance to clinical practice in a fun, and engaging way.
Party
