The two formulations of the additive were considered skin and eye irritants and respiratory sensitisers. Abstract

Following a request from the European Commission, the Panel on Additives and Products or Substances used in Animal Feed (FEEDAP) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the safety and efficacy of Belfeed B MP/ML as a feed additive for gestating sows when used at 10 IU/kg feed.
