Abstract

A quantitative method for determining resorcylic acid lactones (zeranol, taleranol, zearalanone, and zearalenone) in bovine urine using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed and evaluated for use in the monitoring of Japanese beef exports to the European Union.
