The study analyzed Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs), Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), Marine biotoxins (MBs), and a broad spectrum of inorganic elements, including heavy metals. The results showed that all analyzed contaminants were significantly below the maximum limits set for regulated fishery products in Europe, though some concerns arose from the levels of cadmium (Cd) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) detected in certain specimens.
