We also identified the metal-based mutual effects between tumor cells and T cells in the tumor microenvironment. Abstract

In recent years, increasing evidence has shown that metals play important roles in both innate and adaptive immunity. An emerging concept of metalloimmunotherapy has been proposed, which may accelerate the development of immunotherapy for cancers. Here, we discuss how metals affect T cell function through different signaling pathways.
