Abstract
We report a new family of self-imaging fields, which are the result of the inverse Fourier transform of an amplitude modulation consisting of at least two concentric rings and a separable phase modulation. We present the frequency conditions necessary to achieve the self-imaging effect at a given distance. The experimental realization of the fields was carried out employing the single spatial light modulator double phase modulation architecture. In this respect, theoretical and experimental results are presented showing good agreement.
