Results showed that <i>in-vitro</i> digested LF, specifically gastric LF digesta, exhibited significant antibacterial activity at low concentrations against <i>E. coli</i> compared to its undigested counterpart. Additionally, the highest antibacterial activity in the gastric digesta was associated with a relatively high molecular weight fraction of >30 kDa obtained within the first 30 min of the SGID.
