Abstract

This article discusses the collaborative efforts of two nurse residency program coordinators to increase engagement and improve outcomes within their respective programs. Inspired by the theories of Patricia Benner and Malcolm Knowles, the authors promoted self-directed learning by introducing resident-led committees.
