It is from this perspective that this article analyzes the process of recruiting and selecting people based on skills. A descriptive and bibliographical study was carried out to describe, from the works consulted, the procedures used in the aforementioned process. It can be seen that the process of recruiting and selecting people follows some parameters for its implementation, namely: diagnosis of internal needs, financial provision, definition of the type of recruitment, determination of techniques and description of the skills to be examined in the act of selecting candidates.
