Abstract
The WHO lung cytopathology reporting system has been published recently and is now a five-tier category system without any subcategorization. WHO reporting system also encourages the application of ancillary diagnostic tests like cell block preparation, immunocytochemistry, and rapid on-site evaluation for better categorization of specimens and further management. This correspondence aims to provide a brief outline of the lung reporting system.
