Abstract

Principal component analysis (PCA) has been applied in many aspects. To address the problem of measuring water content in soil, this paper proposes a method to measure soil water content based on the PCA. We used PCA to reduce the dimension of the data and processed the soil amplitude ratio frequency response spectra.
