Abstract

The OCEANS Conferences are the flagship conferences of the IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society. The IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering (JOE) has long encouraged OCEANS authors to develop their short conference papers into significantly longer journal articles with the inclusion of additional novel results, and by expanding them to be more comprehensive. For information about how to do this, I encourage interested OCEANS Conference authors to refer to the editorial by EiC Emeritus N. Ross Chapman [1].
